    Blending Procedure:

    1. Combine the based oils and essential oil in in a bottle. Let them site for a few days, shaking them every 4 or 5 hours so the blend combines well.

    2. To use, warm the oil gently in a microwave -- 10 or 20 seconds should be enough. Set aside.

    3. Get a towel big enough to allow you to wrap your head, and soak it in hot water. Wring the water out. Apply the oil to dry hair. Cover your head with the towel. Leave on for several hours.

    4. Wash and condition hair as usual. Enjoy!

    Comments:

"An absolutely delectable treat for long hair! As Sandalwood is so expensive, I substitute another oil for it, such as Lavender (don't use a drying oil like Lemon). As the Sandalwood is just for scent, it won't hurt the effectiveness of this lovely recipe if you substitute it for something else."

"This works well, except that Sandalwood EO is about £20 for a tiny bottle. Is there a cheaper substitute?"
