    Jojoba oil has a very long shelf life, so it can be stored for extended periods of time at room temperature. Most other oils, such as avocado, sweet almond, hazelnut and apricot kernel, have much shorter shelf lives and should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer if they will not be used within 6 months or so of opening. If your shipment of oil arrives smelling rancid, return it for a refund.
